Dragonfruit

I went back to Antique last week and I went to our Coffee Shop, "Coffee Craze." Then I found out that it was the season for dragonfruits! It only means Dragonfruit shakes!
Dragonfruit
It is red, and covered with "scales" quite similar to that of a dragon!
The dragon fruit has anti-oxidant properties, low in cholesterol, rich in vitamin C and is beneficial to dieting.

We sell dragonfruit shake in months from June to near August, it's the dragonfruit season. It can be neatly paired with cakes, pastries and snacks! With the velvety rich color, it surely lures you into tasting the best fruit shake of your life.

Carcosa

It was a nice Saturday afternoon when my mom decided to come here and dine at Carcosa.
The place was really new so there weren't much decorations but it had a serene atmosphere.

This one's called fish papillot. It had a nice, raw lemony taste to it. Not my first time experiencing the flavors.

This is chicken, spicy, tangy and really appetizing.

This lastly is my sister's favorite, pork. It was cooked really well, no burns, no raw meat, just.. perfect.
We also got banana creme brulee and ginger homemade ice cream for dessert but I wasn't abl to photograph it, I was too busy indulging myself with it!

I'm hoping to go back to this restaurant and to see it improved and finally furnished.

Pink Party

July 29, 2014 I was in a pretty pink party of Bea who was finally turning 1 Year Old.
We were all in pink!

All the decorations were pink. If I were back to being immature, I might have eaten all the delicious sweets and snacks!

DoVa: Brunch Cafe

Last Friday, we went to this vintage styled brunch cafe in Lapaz, Iloilo. DoVa: Brunch Cafe is a chic and classy cafe that serves a variety of dishes from steak to salmons to burgers.

The menu contained dishes usually served during brunch but hey, who said you can't have breakfast at night?

We came to have dinner before we went home to Antique that night.

The first dish we ordered is a "Hummus Plate." It had nachos, harvest sticks (veggies) and ofcourse, hummus (humus is different LOL please, just don't, ack). Hummus is a dip or spread made from mashed chickpeas, olive oil, lemon juice, garlic and other ingredients. But this spread tasted more like ginger to me.

My mom ordered Steak and Eggs. Classic brunch dish!

Bangers and Mash (YUM!) The main ingredient is shubleig and hungarian sausage (quite obviously) caramelized onions, peas and mashed potato! The dish was swimming in gravy. Like seriously. You could see them playing like dolphins.

Then I ordered this oh-so-divine dish, Panseared Salmon. Cooked to Perfection and also totally eaten by myself. Alone. (Fish won't make me fat. Right?) The Salmon tasted so.. OMG. The white wine sauce was delish and it complemented the Salmon too!
Can't wait to get back there!

Happy Kitchen, Happy Me

After our leadership training, my sister and I went out to eat lunch at Chika-an in Robinson's, Iloilo. We had nothing more to do. So we decided to go Happy Kitchen in Amigo.

Happy Kitchen's very own sandwhich!

This is basically what I ate, a vegetable salad wrap. I don't usually eat these kinds
of food, but I'm glad to say I finished it!

Now this are tortilla chips and a spicy cheese dip. It only costs 30 pesos!

And lastly, my sister bought a melon milkshake that was divine!

Being bored, like I was, I played with dominoes displayed at the corner of the Restaurant.

Overdosed

I'm wasn't really into much of K-pop, but after seeing this group, I now have my bias list and they became my favorite. Meet EXO:

My favorite one is Kim Jong In or Kai, he's called the dancing machine of the group and that's exactly why he's on top of my bias list.

There had been a lot of confusing events because of the rumor that one of their members filed a lawsuit.
I hope that they would get through it and stay one.

EXO, We are one!

Back to School

I'm with my friends, Kate and Joanna hanging out near our school's basketball court.

We had nothing to do, a holiday means a done day.
