The menu contained dishes usually served during brunch but hey, who said you can't have breakfast at night?
We came to have dinner before we went home to Antique that night.
The first dish we ordered is a "Hummus Plate." It had nachos, harvest sticks (veggies) and ofcourse, hummus (humus is different LOL please, just don't, ack). Hummus is a dip or spread made from mashed chickpeas, olive oil, lemon juice, garlic and other ingredients. But this spread tasted more like ginger to me.
My mom ordered Steak and Eggs. Classic brunch dish!
Bangers and Mash (YUM!) The main ingredient is shubleig and hungarian sausage (quite obviously) caramelized onions, peas and mashed potato! The dish was swimming in gravy. Like seriously. You could see them playing like dolphins.
Then I ordered this oh-so-divine dish, Panseared Salmon. Cooked to Perfection and also totally eaten by myself. Alone. (Fish won't make me fat. Right?) The Salmon tasted so.. OMG. The white wine sauce was delish and it complemented the Salmon too!
Can't wait to get back there!
